Support for MySQL 5.7 will be supported in 4.10 - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-8145

You should change storage_engine=InnoDB todefault_storage_engine=InnoDB in your jdbc.url property in bitbucket.properties to address some changes with MySQL 5.7. You will also need to add jdbc.ignoreunsupported=true to get up and running.

jdbc.ignoreunsupported can be removed after upgrading to 4.10 when it is released.
