Stash can't find my STASH_HOME variable on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
I've done "echo $STASH_HOME" and I got the variable, but Stash cannot find it.
This is the error I get:
Stash doesn't know where to store its data. Please configure the STASH_HOME
environment variable with the directory where Stash should store its data.
Ensure that the path to STASH_HOME does not contain spaces. STASH_HOME may
be configured in setenv.sh, if preferred, rather than exporting it as an
environment variable.
It does not contain spaces.
Hi there,
How did you configured the STASH_HOME folder?
Was it written on /etc/environment or was it described on setenv.sh file?
Please give a try adding STASH path on setenv.sh file, located on bin folder.
Also, please let me know how it goes for you.
PS:
The stash documentation about using Stash as service can be found on https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Running+Stash+as+a+Linux+service.
Regards.
Exit the session, login back in as the stash user and see if you can echo the STAHS_HOME variable correctly.
