Stash markdown badly rendered

Mickael BRIDARD December 26, 2013

Hello,

We have a README.md file which is not correctly rendered into Stash.

Here is the content exemple:

#Process description#
Natura mundo caesa addidit. Cuncta habendum meis omni ille formaeque emicuit septemque et.
Cuncta habendum meis omni ille formaeque emicuit septemque et:
- for XXXXX:
	- Alto ventos est coeptis utque fecit. Phoebe sine circumfuso arce. Tanto aliis.
	- ornua origo formaeque animal mundo. Chaos: fabricator. Natura mundo caesa
	- Alto ventos est coeptis utque fecit. Phoebe sine circumfuso arce. Tanto aliis.
	- ornua origo formaeque animal mundo. Chaos: fabricator. Natura mundo caesa

I have test it on version 2.10.0 and the content under the line " for XXXXX" is not correctly rendered, here is what i get in the Stash markdown view:

Process description
Natura mundo caesa addidit. Cuncta habendum meis omni ille formaeque emicuit septemque et. Cuncta habendum meis omni ille formaeque emicuit septemque et: - for XXXXX: - Alto ventos est coeptis utque fecit. Phoebe sine circumfuso arce. Tanto aliis. - ornua origo formaeque animal mundo. Chaos: fabricator. Natura mundo caesa - Alto ventos est coeptis utque fecit. Phoebe sine circumfuso arce. Tanto aliis. - ornua origo formaeque animal mundo. Chaos: fabricator. Natura mundo caesa

Everything is collapsed.

Could you check if this is really a bug ?

Thanks for your help

Hi Mickael,

We use a library called Pegdown, which handles all our mardkown rendering. It can be a little fussy about having returns in between each of the paragraphs. If you put a blank line before the first '-' it will render the list as you would expect.

I know that's not ideal, but does that help?

That blank line to mark the end of the text paragraph, separating it from the beginning of the list, is required by Markdown.
