Source Tree Exception Edited

Hi All,

Getting below error while trying to configure source tree. any help is appreaciated

The OpenSSH agent is running but the server still rejected your connection. You may need to add the correct key to your agent by selecting tools > Add SSH Key

Please note that manuall logging in with username and password is not supported via OpenSSH. Please either switch to a HTTPS URL or change the SSH Client Option to Putty/Plingk in Tools > Options

Hi Sathishkumar, could you clarify a bit more so we can help you troubleshoot this issue?:

  • What were you doing when you got that message?
  • Can you confirm you're using the right SSH key (Tools > Add SSH Key)?
  • What version of SourceTree and OS are you using?

Best regards,

Hi Ana,

Source Tree

I was getting this message when i'm trying to clone. Yes, i did adde right SSH key.

Hi Satish,

there can be many reasons:

try this..

from the ssh key pair add private key[id_rsa] under [Tools > Add SSH Key] and public key[] under your profile. check you have read and write permissions for the repo you are trying to clone.
