Show latest commit next to Folder in Source view.

Geoff Gedde January 14, 2014

Is there a way to show the latest commit next to the folder in Source View just like GIThub does?
I really like this feature in GIThub. It makes it much easier to search and find latest commits and where they went. I know you can use the Commit tab for latest commits, but it is kind of hard to see when somone was last working in the "Classes" folder as an example.

This is a questions for both Bitbucket and Stash.

Thanks

Hi Geoff,

Unfortunately not at the moment in either of our systems.

For Bitbucket here is the feature request:

https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issue/5925/show-latest-commit-message-and-date-for

For Stash there isn't currently a feature request, but feel free to add one. I also haven't seen an addon that this either, although technically it would be possible. We've certainly talked about this on the Stash team, but at least for us it would be quite expensive given that we could have to fork Git multiple times for a single folder.

Sorry about that.
