Push to incorrect remote repository

ADAPTD June 2, 2014

Hi,

In Sourcetree, I accidentally connected a local repository to the incorrect remote BitBucket repository and pushed all my commits into this incorrect repository.

I'm not entirely sure if this is a git question, a SourceTree question or a BitBucket question; but please can someone help me get rid of these commits pushed to the incorrect repository?

They don't appear to have affected the existing branches / commits; but they show up (including their tags) in the history of commits both in SourceTree and in BitBuket and I'd like them not to!

Thanks!

[Edit: fix typo]

Some here may be able to give you helpful advice on how to fix it yourself, but it may be more effective to open a support request at support.atlassian.com, to get some actual Atlassian staff involved.
