Pull request comments in bitbucket leads to error

Dear Atlassian,

When I try to write a comment for a pull request inside bit bucket it displays a comment error message

Can you please advice how can i fix that ?

We are seeing the same issue. 

The one item which may be a potential problem is that the repository which we have has had its history re-written a couple of times via git filter-branch and then git push --force. Not sure if this is a contributing factor.
