I have linked Bit Bucket to Jenkins with the new Web Hook in Bit Bucket. I forgot that my build writes a commit back to git bumping the revision number of the release. This in turn triggered in Jenkins which triggered Bit Bucket and so on. By the time I caught the problem I had 2000 new commits in a repository.
I am just wondering how other people avoid this problem with Web Hooks. I am assuming people have some other way of bumping the revision number.
