fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

The error above is what I am getting when I want to clone a repo from bitbucket using source tree.  It used to be working before, then I wanted to push to that repo then it didnt work, so I reinstalled source tree but it still give me the errors

Hi Xavier, looks like the credentials you're using are not correct, or you no longer have access to that repo. You can check the keychain to make sure the credentials there are not corrupted, and make sure your Bitbucket account is connected following the steps at Connect your Bitbucket account. Can you answer the following:

  1. Are you able to perform other operations to that repo?
  2. Are you able to clone it from the command line?

If you can clone it through the command line, then the issue is entirely in Sourcetree side, my recommendation would be to wipe Sourcetree's preferences.

Cheers!

Ana
