I have been trying to cache my sonar scanner. It always fails. While trying to get that working I noticed that when I updated the version of the sonar scanner, the build just started failing for no obvious reason to me. I was just curious if anyone else is having similar problems, because I would like to be able to be on the most current version. I feel like I am missing something very obvious.
I am getting my versions from https://sonarsource.bintray.com/Distribution/sonar-scanner-cli/
Is it just the directory name that is giving so much trouble?
Is "cli" significant in this?
ANY insight on getting cache working for sonar scanner or getting the newer versions working will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. I know the chmod is not relevant in this case, I was just showing the problem. I have ran it with and without for both ways. It works on the old version with and without, and nothing I do gets newer version to work.
