Mysql db migration

Terry Lowery November 9, 2017

I have followed the directions for installing the mysqldb jar driver and put the jar file in the /opt/atlassian/bitbucket/5.5.0/lib/ and restarted the service but I still get the warning that it is not supported by default and to install the driver. Am I missing something?

Directions are here

Hi Terry,

My understanding is that the warning is always displayed, just as a reminder to install the driver, i.e. it doesn't mean that it's not installed. So see if you can migrate to MySQL anyway despite the message.

Check that the user running the service is the owner of the jar file

example:

bitbucket:bitbucket
