My files keep getting deleted, can't see history of commits causing this

Mesut Pak December 14, 2016

We are using Atlassian Stash v3.10.2.

Somehow, my files in one of my repos keep getting deleted from Stash.

I can not locate a way to see when they are deleted and by whom.

I can't see the commit history of deletion either.

Is there a way to uncover this info?

I don't have access to CLI on the Stash server.

I am using git command line on my laptop to interact with Stash.

Thanks

Per "https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/113756", you want to the revision where deleted file still existed.

After some head scratching I ended up going back to commits list, selected hash for a commit from couple of months ago.

Then pasted the hash to URL bar to replace $BRANCH as shown from post I referenced above:

https://$HOST/projects/$PROJECT/repos/$REPO/browse/$PATH?at=$BRANCH

I am now able to see the  files existed per that commit.

Hi,

You've tagged your question with Confluence tags, so you probably won't get much help here.  Try adding the stash tag so that people watching that topic will see your question.

Changed, thank you!
