I need to migrate some repos from a testing installation of Bitbucket Server to a Production instance, but haven't found anything via googling to walk me through the process. The Bitbucket Servers are both the same version. I know I can easily migrate just the repo itself over to the new instance, but I would like to be able to also migrate the pull requests, permissions, project, etc. Is there any way to do so?
Hi Matt,
The best way to accomplish this would be to do a full backup of the test instance and restore to the production one. This would only work if the production instance was fresh and all data could be replaced with what is on the test instance. So, I'm not sure if that's possible in this scenario. More information on the backup and restore process can be found at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/data-recovery-and-backups-776640050.html
There is also an open feature request to allow you restore individual projects or repositories being tracked at:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-4586
