New to Git and Bitbucket so I may be missing something stupid.
I have a local repo on my Mac. Everything works fine from SourceTree, and git command line.
When I try to follow the tutorial for migrating a local repo to BitBucket cloud from SourceTree, a new empty repo will show in my cloud account, but I get following error messages int the output window.
git@bitbucket.org: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
Any Idea what I am missing?
Thanks,
Ken
Hi @Ken Turcotte
Sorry for the delayed answer.
With the provided information it looks like you are missing the ssh key configuration.
Take a look at this page https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/set-up-an-ssh-key-728138079.html.
It will provide some guidance on how to set up the ssh key.
Please feel free to reach out if you tried that before or I misunderstood your question.
Cheers
