All my jira tickets used to show details with branch name and pull request information. Now, all the tickets are blank. I'm not sure how to link that information from my bitbucket back to the jira tickets. They were working a couple months ago.
HI Patrik, Thanks for your response. I think the issue is my bitbucket account and jira account have 2 different emails. When i login to bitbucket, workspace settings under Atlassian integrations, Jira--- it shows me a "Try Jira Cloud now" button. I already have Jira with a different email. Both bitbucket and Jira account belongs to the same company. If i sign up for a new Jira cloud account, is there a way to port all existing Jira tickets to this new Jira cloud?
Hey @Lily Poon ,
and welcome to the Community!
For development data from Bitbucket Cloud to be linked to Jira issues, you first need to connect your workspace to your Jira instance. If you haven't already, you can follow the steps outlined in the below article to connect the products:
Once the instances are connected, you need to include the issue key information either on commit messages, branch names or Pull request title for that information to appear on the jira ticket.
I hope that helps! Let us know in case you have any questions.
Thank you, @Lily Poon !
