Is this feature still available in Bitbucket Cloud edition?

sremillard January 22, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Resolve issues automatically when users push code

Is this feature still available in Bitbucket Cloud edition?

I can't seem to find a way to link the commit message with the issue numbers.

Example of commit message used without success:

Fixes #1
Fix for issue #1
Correction issue: #1
Close #1

The article is some outdated. Here is newer version.

There is no Hooks tab in Settings now.

But you can enable Issue service in Services tab.

p.s.: maybe the feature needs some time to activate.

Yes it is.

If you are having trouble getting it to work, please contact support at support@bitbucket.org and provide us with the links to some commits that you expected would have closed an issue, but failed.

Hi, Erik van Zijst.

I have the same issue.

The article is some outdated. There is no `Hooks` menu item in Settings now. But `Services` and `Webhooks` are there.

I've enabled `Issue` service. But pushed commits don't affect referenced issues.

UPDATE: works perfect now.

Don't know, did Atlassian fix something or the feature just needs some time to activate.

Update from my correspondence with support:

Once you enable the issue tracker, you can commit code with the Issue #nnn directive. This becomes clickable within the commit message and takes you to the issue. It does not update the issue itself though with a comment showing the respective changeset.

I opened a feature request for this. Let's see how it goes.

Same problem here.

I have the "Issue" service configured but it is not providing links to issues in commit messages and comments.

Have the same issue. I just sent an email to support. Lets see...

New team, new project, new account in BB.

My webhooks are empty. My commit message is correct but the issue is not updated.

Will update if solved.
