Is there a means by which to link to code found in git?

Jim August 7, 2017

I'm not really a nube but I'd like to start asking questions here so I can get more out of our Atlassian products as I'm quite fond of them.

So we have gitbucket not bitbucket.  Is there a specific means by which I can link to, for example, a Java class stored in Git? None of my searches have turned anything like that up.

Hi Jim,

The closest thing I've found to what you're trying to do comes from the knowledge base article Hyperlinking to source code in BitBucket and you'd use a URI such as the following:

{+bitbucket}{/owner, repository_name}/src{/commitish}{/filepath}{?fileviewer}{#fileline}

Take a look at the knowledge base article Hyperlinking to source code in BitBucket to see if that works for you.

Cheers,

Branden
