With the release of Bitbucket Server 5.3, it is possible to create a JIRA issue from a pull request.
See 5.3 release notes - Creating a JIRA issue from a pull request comment and Review and discuss a pull request - Create a JIRA issue from a pull request.
While testing it, you will notice that a maximum of 10 JIRA issues will be displayed.
Is this expected? If yes, can this limit be overwritten?
Correct, there is a limit of 10 linked JIRA issues and, as of today, this is the expected behaviour.
This limit cannot be overwritten.
This is really unfortunate because bigger PRs have many more and this makes it impossible to go to each item and trigger workflow changes.
As a workaround: Using JQL, how can I query all Jira items that are linked to a particular PR number?
