Integrate jira to Bitbucket/Sourcetree

Rod Bauer November 26, 2014

We are working with JIRA-Agile and are looking for a simple way to be able to create a branch (in a JIRA issue) which will be linked to our repository, so we can see the commits in JIRA etc.

So far we tried to implement DVCS and  looked briefly on Stash but spent too much time trying to understand which one is the right one.

We are currently on trial for JIRA-Agile. Do we need to purchase an additional product? Is Stach an overkill?

Thank you,

ai.type team.

Hi Rod

JIRA branching and commits will work with Stash, Bitbucket or GitHub. When using Bitbucket or GitHub you will need to configure the DVCS connector.

Another page worth reading is Integrating JIRA with Code Development Tools
