Corporate policy does not allow us to install applications on the boot partition so I have Git installed in d:\Git. When I try to install Stash, I get an error message saying it can't find Git. How do I get around this?
Thanks.
Update the Stash Properties file to point to your git location. It can be found in:
%STASH_HOME/shared/stash-config.properties
Then update the relative property like so...
plugin.stash-scm-git.path.executable=D:\Git\bin\git
%STASH_HOME% is set to E:\Atlassian\ApplicationData\Stash. I have no stash-config.properties file anywhere under that directory.

What version of Stash do you have? How about the 'shared' folder?

v3.11.2 I checked every drive, I can't find that file anywhere...

Create it then. See guideline here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Stash+config+properties
