Including reviewer's names in commit message when pull request accepted?

Deleted user November 1, 2013

We'd like the commit message created when a pull request is accepted and merged to include the names of the people who were selected as reviewers -- and, ideally, whether they accepted the request or didn't respond. Is there any way to do that automatically? If not, is there any opportunity to edit the commit message generated when someone clicks "Merge" on the pull request so we could put that in ourselves?

Ideally we'd like to see something like

Merge pull request #3 in PROJECT/reponame from feature/blah to develop

Reviewers: Fred Gonzales (accepted), Jane Jones (accepted), Pat Jones (no response)

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

I'm afraid to say there isn't a way at the moment to customise the merge message. Your best bet might be to watch and vote on the following (it's about description, but we would probably want to make a general plugin point if we did do it).

Cheers,

Charles
