We have just signed up for a trial of Jira Cloud but have been using Bitbucket Cloud for a while. We want to import our existing issues from the Bitbucket cloud issue tracker into a Jira cloud project. How can we do this?

Henry,

The Importing data from Bitbucket article provides the instruction on how to achieve this.

If the import does not work on the first attempt, you can attempt trying the "workarounds" on the JRACLOUD-67311 - Ability to Import Bitbucket Issues into JIRA in JSON feature request.

There are steps to import the issues, you can find the documentation here https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-bitbucket-935384618.html

It takes a bit of manual intervention but will give you what you need.
