I have a Mercurial repository, devQA, that I want to import to my new Git repository. How do I do it

Need help in importing my Bitbucket Mercurial repo to my Bitbucket Git repo of the same name.  How do I do it?

Thanks for reaching out.

There are various Git conversion tools in the market, including hg-fast-export and hg-git  mercurial plugin. We are happy to support your migration, and you can find a discussion about available options in our dedicated Community thread.

If you want to keep the same name for your new Git repository, you'll need to move or remove the old one first to make its name available, then create a new Git repository with that name, then push the converted repository content up. Let me know if you have any questions.
