I am unable to create a branch in BitBucket Server

I have installed the BiBucket server, created different repositories but now unable to create a branch from the left sidebar as the option doesn't show up, neither I can commit anything in any of the branches. It throws an error "Make sure you have correct permissions or the branch exists" I have already given the right permissions.

Hello Sahil,

Can you confirm that the repositories are not empty? You are not able to create branches in an empty repository.

Secondly, can you confirm how you are trying to push code and to what branch? As well as possibly a screenshot of that branch existing in Bitbucket?
