I am new to repos so I am probably using the wrong terminology, but how can I load the files I push to the repo directly into the browser, I mean for Stash to serve them to the client as a webpage? For example if I push an .html file, how can I set up Stash so that it can serve that file in the browser if it was called?
Hi Acidking,
I'm afraid that currently isn't possible in Stash to avoid XSS. See my answer here:
https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/230967/how-to-serve-html-from-stash-with-the-correct-mime-type
As I mention it would be possible to write a custom plugin to do this if you like. Alternatively, it may be that you want to "publish" an entire repository as a website, in which case you might want to think about having a CI build (eg Bamboo) that copies the files to another server on each push.
Cheers,
Charles
