Hello Community,
I am at a loss as to how to search through my own or a team's snippets.
I read THIS SEARCH article, but I'm not getting any hits... I'm attempting to search within a team "team-alpha". That team has no projects or repos. Just some snippets myself and a team member created to test bitbucket.
Hi Rosa! The search functionality will only search code within the repositories, it will not search through the snippets. We have a Feature request for that and you might be interested to vote for it, you can find it at Organize and search snippets. You can also add a comment if you'd like.
Hope that helps!
Ana

Hi Rosa, I'm afraid snippets were not covered in that feature request, that was related to the ability to search the source code.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hello,

Does this mean that there is no way for people to search a snippet without knowing the exact snippet URL?
If a snippet is made public, does it only mean that anyone can view it only if she/he has the snippet URL and it has nothing to do with the snippet search functionality?

Hello Dai! I don't know the answer to that question since due to lack of searchability, we ended up selecting a different snippet program for our company. I suggest you start a new "question" in the community, or try this thread for possible answers
