Hi,
I have my company's Atlassian account for Jira mainly, I have just tried out also the bitbucket, but it created somehow personal bitbucket. Now, my company is considering to also use the bitbucket, and I would like to close my bitbucket account without removing the whole Atlassian account....
Is there any way to do this?
Thanks very much

Hello Carlos and welcome to the Community!
For Bitbucket cloud each user will have their own account. These accounts may be associated with multiple teams within and outside of your company. Meaning, the account you’ve created does not need to be removed if your company chooses to use Bitbucket. They will simply add your account to the company team that will be created.
If you did want to move forward in removing your Bitbucket account, you’re welcome to do so. There is a detailed article which covers what is and isn’t removed along with the steps necessary to complete your removal. You may find this article at Delete an account.
I hope this proves helpful and you’re able to start using Bitbucket at the company level.

Hello Stephen,
thanks very much for your answer, I was checking the document you send me, and it seems that I cannot delete just my personal Bitbucket part of my personal account because it will delete my whole account, and my organization (my company) will have to invite me once more, am I right?
thanks very much for your time,
Regards,
Carlos

Hello Carlos,
You are correct in that when you submit an account for deletion the account in its entirety is deleted (after a 14-day grace period).
If you want to disassociate your bitbucket account from yourself you could look at changing the owner of your repositories to another account. If this is the course of action you’re interested in pursuing you may find more information on how to accomplish this via Transfer repository ownership.
