How to delete big data blobs after deleting the branch and reverting commits?

Batul_Bombaywala May 10, 2019

I had pushed big data by mistake to git. Realising the mistake I deleted the branch using bitbucket UI and then reverted the commits and pushed it from my local.

Now when I search for the greatest blobs occupying space - the blobs for the file still appear without a file name.

I tried deleting these file using their blob hash using bfg repo cleaner with '--strip-blobs-with-ids' but got the message:

BFG aborting: No refs to update - no dirty commits found??

How do I delete these blobs?
