this will be ok?

<configuration>

<appender name="SYSLOG" class="ch.qos.logback.classic.net.SyslogAppender">

<syslogHost>remote_home</syslogHost>

<facility>AUTH</facility>

<suffixPattern>[%thread] %logger %msg</suffixPattern>

</appender>

<root level="DEBUG">

<appender-ref ref="SYSLOG" />

</root>
</configuration>

Hi Alexey,

I tried to do it that way:

<appender name="bitbucket.accesslog" class="ch.qos.logback.classic.net.SyslogAppender">
<syslogHost>Remote_Host</syslogHost>
<facility>AUTHPRIV</facility>
<suffixPattern>[%thread] %logger %msg%n</suffixPattern>
</appender>

<root>
<appender-ref ref="bitbucket.accesslog" />
</root>

<!-- Enable access logs and direct it to its own separate appender -->
<logger name="bitbucket.access-log" level="INFO" additivity="false">
<appender-ref ref="bitbucket.accesslog"/>
</logger>

However, it's only able to log Bitbucket  startup messages, whatever facility I set in the appender.

Did you get any better result?

Thank you.

Regards,
Evgeniy
