How to authorize Sourcetree on install

Pavel Janíček January 17, 2019

During installation of Sourcetree for Windows I am being asked if I want Sourcetree to be authorized through Bitbucket.

I click the bitbucket and then I grant access. This redirects me to address like this:

http://localhost:34106/?state=authenticated&code=superSecretTokenCode

However, my Internet Explorer (yes, thats my default browser and no, I am not allowed to change this) tells me, that it cannot reach the page.

I already tried to stop Docker for Windows and it did not resolve the issue. Is there an alternative way how to tell Sourcetree that it can continue the installation?

Or, what are the steps to resolve this issue?

I decided to try full reboot of computer. Surprisingly, it resolved this issue. I am now connected to my account on desktop version of SourceTree
