Is there any option in stash to add a sub group as part of group
Hi Subramanian,
Stash basically relies on an emedded version of Atlassian Crowd to handle all our user management. Are you just using the internal directory? If you use LDAP you should be able to manage nested groups there:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Nested+Groups+in+Crowd
In general LDAP (eg Active Directory) or Crowd (the application) are far better at managing your users and groups. I suspect it's not something we will ever add to Stash for that reason.
Cheers,
Charles
i don't think that type of option is availble in stash, check this doc

Thanks for the info. It doesn't mention anything about sub groups in the limitations section.
