How to add logging to a bitbucket 4.11 plugin?

Wes May 12, 2017

I have a plugin that I am maintaining that was developed in house. It appears that logging was implemented according to this article: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Answers-Developer-Questions/How-do-I-add-logging-to-my-stash-plugin/qaq-p/545116.

I know that the plugin logging used to go to atlassian-bitcbucket.log when we were on 3.x and I'm pretty sure after the upgrade to 4.x.

At somepoint we upgraded to Bitbucket 4.11.2, and the logging seems to have stopped working as I can not find any logging in the atlassian-bitbucket.logs any longer.

Does anyone have any experience or advice with this? Could someone point me to how to create a separate log file for the plugin to log to?
