How to Enable maintenance mode in stash?

We would like to have custom/default maintainence page for Stash. How can we enable that or create a new one?

Thanks

Hi Shrutika,

What are you trying to achieve? Customize Stash's bundled maintenance page that is displayed during backup? Or do you want to create a maintenance page that is displayed during upgrades (when Stash is down).

Unfortunately, customizing the existing maintenance page would make it harder to upgrade Stash because you'd have to re-apply your customizations and they might break functionality as the page changes in future Stash versions.

If you're looking for a maintenance page to be displayed while Stash is shut down, it depends on what HTTP reverse proxy you're using. For Apache HTTP, have a look at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/622466/how-to-put-apache-website-to-503-temporary-down
