How do i leave 3rd party bitbucket project?

tiagoyg May 3, 2017

Hey everyone. At once, i was participating of a project. Now i left. But it seems that only admin person can revoke my access to this project containing lots of repositories. How do i leave it? It doesn't have a "leave button" in settings panel.

Hi Tiago, can you try the workaround explained in this  feature request and let me know if you were able to leave the project?

Cheers!

Ana

Hi Tiago! Do you want to leave a specific repository or the whole team? To leave a team, you can use this other link https://bitbucket.org/account/user/<TeamName>/leave-team/ (make sure to replace <TeamName> by the actual name of the team).

If you're still unable to do so, you can let me know the name of the team or repo you want to leave, and I'll help you out. If you don't want to share that information publicly, you can submit a ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ and we'll continue helping you :)

Let me know how it goes!

Regards,

Ana

Hello Ana! How you doing?

It's not about team.

I just want to leave this project. I was been added by third party admin.

It follows the link

bump.

Like Tiago said, this is not about leaving a team or a repository, but abandoning/removing myself from a project

Thanks!

Same problem here. I still receive emails from the project and the other team members can add me in tasks.

It's really uncomfortable.

They have added a button on the new UI to leave repository and then it tells you that you will be also removed from the group containing it, so for me the problem was resolved.

Workaround:

Disable "New source browser experience" in here: https://bitbucket.org/account/user/[YOURNAME]/features/

Then click "revoke" in here: https://bitbucket.org/[YOURNAME]/[REPONAME]/overview
