How do I filter Bitbucket to HipChat notifications by branch?

We've just started using Bitbucket and HipChat. The integration between the two services is really cool, but we'd like to be able to separate out notifications based on the branch they're associated with. So for example, I'd like to be able to send Bitbucket notifications relating to feature/foo to a specific room in HipChat. This feels like a fairly obvious feature, but it doesn't appear to be possible with the current version of Bitbucket. Can anyone confirm if they've managed to do this?

Branch based filtering currently isn't possible with the HipChat and Bitbucket integration. However, I've opened this as a feature request for you at the new issue tracker for the integration. Please vote for that issue in the issue tracker to help us prioritize future work on the integration. Also, please raise any other feature requests you may have there.
