How do I create an application link between Stash and Jenkins?

Praneeth Muskula December 22, 2015

Both Stash and Jenkins are integrated through SSO via Crowd. But I am unable to create an application link. What values should I put in the following fields for the application link to work?

I keep getting a NullPointerException

 ERROR [http-nio-7990-exec-6] @1C9V0CGx330x22094x0 1mq0ste 10.0.0.37 "POST /mvc/error500 HTTP/1.1" c.a.s.i.web.ErrorPageController There was an unhandled exception loading [/plugins/servlet/applinks/auth/conf/oauth/add-consumer-by-url/308eb04d-4023-3486-a9a0-3d5d250a32b6]

java.lang.NullPointerException: null

Hi,

I believe the plugin which you are looking for and the documentation is this one:

https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Crowd+2+Plugin

Don't forget to check the requirements and in case you face issues, check this another answer:

SSO works perfectly. I have no problems with SSO. It's just that I am unable to create an application link in stash with Jenkins. I believe I need that for various triggers to function.

You cannot; not without a special Jenkins plugins and a special Stash plugins for this. I forgot how they were called but the Stash one was not in the marketplace. If you search the Internet you will find it.
