How do I add an existing coding project (from netbeans) to my bitbucket repository?

Hi Joel! You can add it just as any other repository. Assuming you have the repo locally in your computer, you can follow the instructions at Set up a repository if you're using Bitbucket Cloud, or Importing code from an existing project if you're using Bitbucket Server.
