How can I use markdown-magic in README.md, Markdown files?

In this example https://bitbucket.org/tutorials/markdowndemo/src/master/ it is stated that

> we don't support arbitrary HTML in Markdown, for example <table> tags. Instead, we use safe mode.

That means that we can't do simple staff like centering content or using documentation-generator tools like markdown-magic (HTML comments are visible in README.md)

Are there any plans to improve HTML support in Markdown or is that something that will never change and will be a permanent limitation in BitBucket repos?
