Granting permission to a user

Hey guys im granting a friend permission as a admin to join my repository, he accepted the invitation by e-mail but he still has the read level.

We tried every solution but still nothing works, any suggestions?

Now that they have accepted the invitation, you should be able to change their access under the user management settings.

Do you see their username under Users and groups?
