Github -> JIRA shows incorrect commit time

For some reason, the time shown for my commits are inaccurate. If i commit something now, it will read yesterday.

These are Bitbucket screenshots, not GitHub. Is your question about Bitbucket or GitHub?

If you are on bitbucket server, perhaps this is an issue with the Time Zone settings. Atlassian documentation on changing the time zone for a user or for all users:

There is no "manage account" or "server settings" in my menu bar. Additionally its not int he top right. Am i missing something?
