Yes it does as gitflow is merely a convention that doesn't require any particular support on the hosting side. Something that is related and might be interesting for you is http://blogs.atlassian.com/2013/05/git-automatic-merges-with-server-side-hooks-for-the-win/ that helps to ensure that the various significant branches get automatically merged.
