Out of the blue subversion connections from my MacBook Pro is failing; it is failing only for 'http' connections ('https' is fine).
I currently cannot access any Subversion repositories over 'http'. All was working fine till 5 days ago when it started to fail - I cannot trace it to any changes made on my MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion).
My local subversion repository is 'svn-crowd' bridge - initially I thought it was a problem with this. But then I notice connections were failing for all 'http' subversion connections.
Subversion error message bolder below:
$ svn co http://anonsvn.internet2.edu/svn/i2mi/branches/GROUPER_1_6_BRANCH/
svn: OPTIONS of 'http://anonsvn.internet2.edu/svn/i2mi/branches/GROUPER_1_6_BRANCH': Could not read status line: connection was closed by server (http://anonsvn.internet2.edu)
It was an updated Cisco VPN client that was dirtupting svn access to non-http svn connections (even when VPN was not connected!).
I can access the URL. I'd say it's a client side issue with your MacBook.
