Hello Ronny,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community in regards to an error your Bitbucket server threw in the Windows event log. From reviewing the error, we can see that this is a Windows event that looks like Java tripped, we’ll mainly focus on the Exception code: 0xc0000005.

This error is letting us know that there was a memory access violation and the application (Java in this case) was closed due to this. We would suggest updating Java to a later version then the jre1.8.0_66 you’re currently running.

Additionally, we can also see you’re running Bitbucket 6.2.0. This version of Bitbucket is part of a recent security advisory that went out. While there is a simple mitigation fix for the advisory, we would also advise you on upgrading to a later version as well. Further information on this may be found at Bitbucket Server security advisory 2019-09-18.

Thanks for reaching out, and let us know if upgrading Java helps to resolve the access violation issues.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
