Documentation of code review with Bitbucket Server

Simon M January 11, 2016

In a project we have a rather formal code review, which is currently done manually and documented in Excel sheets and Word docs.

Our company uses Bitbucket Server. We would like to improve the current code review process by utilizing Bitbucket Server .

The current idea is that each developer implements features and bugfixes and creates a pull request. This pull request is reviewed by other developers and then merged into our main development branch or not. So far so good.

We would like to export all pull requests (which are now the code reviews) to formally document them in an offline document. This code review document is a delivery item for our customer.

So far I could not find any export function for Bitbucket Server. Is there such function or plugin available?

Is this a feasible approach at all?

Our company develops software for a highly regulated market and hence we are required by QA to formally document code reviews in printable form. We are now considering switching to Bitbucket Server, particularly because of the code review capabilities. However, it seems that there is no way to export all pull requests' activities.

Are there any workarounds or plugins available to close this gap?

Bumping up this thread. We'd like to have an opportunity to export code reviews activity as reports so we could keep them in our document tracking system in-house.
