Deploying websites with FTP/SFTP

erick-go June 30, 2017

Hi,

Really want to enable auto deploy from Bitbucket after I make a local commit.

My webhost doesn't allow ssh access. I know it must be possible because I now use DeployHQ to access my sftp server, which works fine, but I'm limited to only one repository.

Does anyone know how to set up auto deploy over sftp?

I've searched a lot but I can only find a lot of info on deplotment through ftp or ssh.

Thanks!

I heard of this tool lately that might help you with that. It has a bitbucket plugin too:

Hi Eric,

In case you are still looking for solution, check Deployplace. It is similar to DeployHQ but much more powerful and supports deployment of complex applications.

And it's much easier and cheaper than Octopus. It's still in beta, but you can request early access.

Hope this helps,
