Crowd and Bitbucket general configuration via a config file

mrx Jan 10, 2018

Hello, is there a way to configure these 2 apps via a config file, Im using Ansible to automate a backup and recovery of BBucket and Crowd and some parts of our configs, I cant find any config files for these,

for example, for Crowd, what file holds the SMTP mail config settings?

in BBucket, what file holds the Crowd server settings?  And the Base URL?

thanks.

Hi team,

While the majority of the details can be configured in the bitbucket.properties file (see bitbucket.properties), not every configuration can be automated.

There is an existing feature request for this:

BSERV-5167  - Enable unguided/automated installation

From your list, only the base URL can be configured during the setup (through the setup.baseUrl option).

You may also be interested in the Automated setup for Bitbucket Server page for your goals.
