Connecting a Linux cloud repo via SSH

kwanbo January 6, 2018

I have a repo on Windows 10. Have generated SSH keys and installed the public key on Bitbucket.

I do my developing on Windows. I then push the work to Bitbucket and pull it to a repo located on a Linux (Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS) cloud instance.

The Linux repo connects to Bitbucket via HTTPS. I'd like to connect the Linux repo via SSH so that I don't have to enter a password every time I do a fetch or pull.

What are the steps for connecting the Linux repo to the Bitbucket repo via SSH?

Hi,

It would be the same steps you took in Windows.

Generate an SSH key and install the public key to Bitbucket.
