Compare branches with cherry picks

As far as i know, Currently the rest api offers to compare commits through:

http://example.com/rest/api/1.0/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/compare

But this does not take cherry-picks into account, as the commit IDs are different, and they are treated as different commits.

Whereas, git cherry command handles this, by comparing the 'diff' of a branch against the upstream.

Do we have an api available which uses git cherry to return the response. It would be great to have one if it doesn't exist.

Thanks
