Commit message at merge time Edited

How do I customize the format of the merge node messages in Bitbucket Server.

Current:

Merge pull request #3 in BBAD/merge-commit-message from feature/somechanges to master

this is my commit message....

Squashed commit of the following:

A random change of 7038 to file14.txt
I really don’t want the squashed merge commits to look like this.

We are hoping to have them more like

Title of pull request

this is my commit message....

- A random change of 29771 to file17.txt
- A random change of 22803 to file16.txt
- A random change of 31780 to file15.txt
- A random change of 7038 to file14.txt

PR #3

I would really like this to be pre-populated in the Merge Dialog as well.

The commit title is fairly redundant and as a result useless when scanning master history

Merge pull request #3 in BBAD/merge-commit-message from feature/somechanges to master
Merge pull request #2 in BBAD/merge-commit-message from feature/somechanges to master
Merge pull request #1 in BBAD/merge-commit-message from feature/somechanges to master

Hi Tom,

I believe you are looking for a way to give the commit message a template, unfortunately Bitbucket Server does not currently have this feature. There is a similar feature request you can vote on if it meets your needs. Otherwise you might want to raise a new feature request for our Product Managers to consider.

Thanks,
Lucy
