For some reason, my command prompt and power shell do not recognize the git clone command or just the git command. I was wanting to learn to clone thru a terminal window in addition to using Sourcetree. I'd appreciate an answer on why it will not work in a terminal window. Thank you.
Hello @Robert Damian,
Welcome to the Community.
Can you give more information on what you get when you try the command? A dump or screenshot of what you see in the terminal would be very useful.
Cheers,
Daniil

I'm afraid the screenshot didn't get through, can you please re-upload it?
Cheers,
Daniil

I have uploaded twice and the message does not get delivered.
I believe I found the problem. I didn't actually download git. I am also working in GitHub. When I went to clone, it seemed to work.
